Why we built Learnpeer

I watched people close to me work through the same lecture slides for the third or fourth time. And still be afraid of failing an exam. Or new joiners who had to get up to speed in new topics and did not know where to start or stop.

Learnpeer is the tutor I wished they had. One that tells you what you can already explain, what is still shaky, and what to do next.

Everyone should be able to do what they love. And earn a living from it. Regardless of background and access to education.

What is Learnpeer?

Learnpeer is a goal-based learning tutor. You name the result you want, upload the notes, slides, or PDFs you already have, and it builds a step-by-step path from those sources. It is not a general chatbot: answers stay grounded in your material, and progress is tracked against your goal.

What is goal-based learning?

Goal-based learning starts from the result you want, not from chapter one. Most tools still walk everyone through the same playlist. Learnpeer works out what your goal still requires from you and builds the next steps from your own material.

Why not just use ChatGPT to study?

ChatGPT answers the question in front of it. You still decide what to ask, what to study next, and whether you actually understood the answer. Learnpeer already knows your goal and your files, tracks what you can explain, and leads with the next step. Every answer cites the exact place in your script.

What materials can I learn from?

PDFs, slides, notes, and book chapters: math, biology, law, history, or internal company docs. Upload what you already study with. Learnpeer builds the path from those files instead of a generic course catalog.

Does Learnpeer train AI models on my documents?

No. Your files stay yours. They are stored on servers in the EU and used only for your own tutor and knowledge map. Learnpeer does not train foundation models on your uploads, does not resell them, and you can request full deletion under GDPR at any time.

What is the knowledge map?

The knowledge map is a visual graph of your material. Each topic is a point. Lines show how topics connect. As you learn, points change color, so you can see what you have mastered and where the gaps are without grading yourself.

What happens when my goal changes?

You set a new goal and Learnpeer builds a new path. Everything you already understood stays on your map, so you never start over.

Can I use Learnpeer with my team or class?

Yes. Organizations get protected learning spaces built from their own policies and course material. Subject owners shape the shared map. Each learner's personal progress stays private.
